Online, she is Lilthu. On paper, she is Phạm Hồng Anh Thư. In just a few years, that name has travelled from comedy clips about everyday life on TikTok to the host's chair at Vietcetera, the TEDx stage, and the guest list at Samsung's global launch in San Francisco.
Lilthu started making content during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Her funny takes on daily life quickly reached a Gen Z audience and turned a hobby into a career. She has since worked with international brands including adidas, Samsung, YSL and Heineken.
What sets her apart is not a single niche. She moves across fashion, beauty, travel and tech with one consistent voice: direct, funny and opinionated.

From a medical path to the phone screen
Born in 1999, Lilthu lived in the United States and returned to Vietnam during the pandemic. Her family had steered her towards medicine; she chose a different path and had to push through strong opposition from relatives. Today, her family supports her.
In a 2023 interview with Kenh14, one of Vietnam's largest youth news sites, she described how it began: bored of scrolling during lockdown, she "decided to give it a go, turned on the camera and filmed videos my own way" (translated from Vietnamese). Asked whether her success came from luck or planning, she answered "both", adding that every video is "an investment of thought, heart and careful consideration".
She refuses to be defined by one platform: "TikTok is just a platform, and I think I'm using it well." For Lilthu, the message of her content matters more than labels such as "TikToker" or "influencer". She has spoken up on animal welfare and gender equality.
From creator to storyteller
In 2022, Lilthu became the host of Gen Z Okela, a video podcast series by Kenh14. It was her first step into hosting, leading to the full-season host role on Vietcetera's Gen Z Truyền Season 4 in 2025 and two hosting jobs for L'Officiel Vietnam (see 1.2).
Milestones
In 2022, Lilthu began hosting with Gen Z Okela on Kenh14. In 2023, she hosted the red carpet of Ô by L'Officiel 2023. In 2024, she was one of ten players on Let's Feast Vietnam & Korea Season 2, and ran a charity Garage Sale with Laws For Paws Vietnam.
2025 brought several firsts: full-season host of Gen Z Truyền Season 4 on Vietcetera, the launch of her own show Not Really A Podcast, a TEDx UEF 2025 talk, and hosting L'Officiel Vietnam's Halloween night, The 19th Floor. In early 2026, she attended Galaxy Unpacked in San Francisco for the launch of the Galaxy S26. She has also been a guest speaker at Masshare (RMIT Mass Media Club) and a guest on Vietcetera's podcast Cởi Mở. [TO CONFIRM: year of Masshare and Cởi Mở]
Today, Lilthu is moving from content creator to lifestyle personality: a storyteller with a point of view, and someone her audience trusts when she says "this is worth trying".
