Making TikToks means talking to yourself. Hosting means getting other people to talk. Lilthu crossed that gap in under three years.

Gen Z Truyền Season 4. In 2025, Vietcetera, one of Vietnam's leading digital media brands for young people, chose Lilthu as full-season host of Gen Z Truyền, its conversation series with young people who have a story to tell. Guests that season ranged from Alissa Ho and Chảy Xì Dách to Trương Tôn Công Ken, Minh Anh and JaysonLei. Her job was not to shine, but to open doors: the right question at the right moment.
Gen Z Okela (Kenh14, 2022). Before Vietcetera, Lilthu hosted Gen Z Okela, Kenh14's video podcast about standout members of Gen Z. Season 1 was planned as seven 45–50 minute episodes, airing Sundays at 8pm on the Kenh14 app from 19 November 2022. Guests included stylist Tigrebia, singer Grey D, basketball player Võ Kim Bản, gamer Elly, designer Ngô Đĩnh and the duo Pixel Neko and Coldzy (see 4.3).
L'Officiel Vietnam red carpets. Lilthu has twice held the mic for L'Officiel Vietnam: on the red carpet of Ô by L'Officiel 2023, themed "The Body of Art", and at The 19th Floor, the magazine's Halloween night. Fashion events demand a host who knows fashion, remembers names and keeps the pace for an entire line-up of guests.
Not Really A Podcast. In October 2025, Lilthu launched her own podcast on YouTube and Spotify, closer and more personal than the shows she hosts for others.
The common thread: a host who uses humour to put guests at ease, then knows when to be quiet so they can speak honestly.

Every stage, a different skill
Hosting a talk show, a red carpet and your own podcast are three very different jobs. Long-form talk shows of 45–50 minutes, like Gen Z Okela or Gen Z Truyền, require research on each guest, steering the story and knowing when to dig deeper. Red carpets and events such as Ô by L'Officiel or The 19th Floor require remembering names, understanding fashion, quick interviews and keeping the rhythm. A personal podcast like Not Really A Podcast is about building your own voice and talking honestly with your audience.
The attitude she brings on stage
In her Gen Z Okela episode with basketball player Võ Kim Bản, Lilthu summed up how she works: "The stronger the opponent, the harder I fight" (translated from Vietnamese). In the episode with stylist Tigrebia, when the conversation turned to the controversy over backless outfits, she did not dodge it: "It's my body, I'll wear what I like."
A good host does not just ask questions. She shows guests that she, too, is willing to be honest. When the host is real, guests open up.
